Christmas as the gardens

This year the Clark's, Hardwick's, Touchtone's and the Caldwell's all made a trip to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens for the Christmas lights celebration. Although none of us braved the winter weather to explore the gardens, we had a good time seeing Santa and the train room. Holland and Cole liked Santa, from a far that is. Once we put them on Santa's lap and they realized where they were, they got very upset. Well maybe next year!

Fall Fun!

Here is the family at Anna Kate's birthday party. Cole wasn't scared to sit on the little pony but we couldn't get Holland to do the same.

Halloween with the Clarks. We had a blast, thanks for inviting us!

Tom and the babies

Cole had enough of picture time!

Holland loves to point!

The babies didn't know what to think of each other's outfits!

Holland couldn't stop staring! Cole was very scary!

First Birthday Party

Better late than never, here are the pictures from Cole and Holland's 1st Birthday. We had such a great time at the luau themed party. Thanks for everyone that came to celebrate with us!

The family

Cole picking at his smash cake

Holland admiring her smash cake. The babies really didn't dig into their cakes like they did their cupcakes the week before. The audience watching may have had an impact on that.

All the kiddos... this picture was very difficult to get and yes this is the best one!

Pop and his grandkiddos

Gigi, Paw Paw and the babies

How funny is this picture. Tom and Cole are making the same expression! Like father like son!

After the official party, we had a relaxed family birthday party. They had so much fun!

Sneak Preview

Our little man looked so sweet (I mean scary!) as a little lion. Mommy had so much fun dressing him up while Daddy was on a business trip. Now the big question... what should Holland be for Halloween? We were thinking Dorothy from he Wizard of Oz or a sweet little lady bug (similar costume to Cole's). Let us know your thoughts!

On the road again....

The family made the trip up to Indiana for Mindy's friend Julie's wedding and Pop was overjoyed with some gran-twin time! Here is one picture from the weekend!

Two Babies, One Bouncy Seat

Cole looked like he was having too much fun in the bouncy seat so in true Holland fashion, she took over. Good thing we have a sweet natured little gentleman who enjoyed the company!

Poor Lucy...

We need to look into doggie counselling as this may have pushed Lucy over the edge. Not only has Cole taken over her bed, he has also claimed her toys.

Girls Weekend

Katie came in from Chicago, Julie came in from Greensburo, and Jenn drove down to Charlotte for a great girls weekend. The kiddos had so much fun with the gals. Holland enjoyed a lot of girl time and Cole perfected his flirtation. Its official, our little boy is a great flirt! Here are some pictures from the weekend. Thanks Katie for sending them!

Katie brought the babies new toys... NEW TOYS!

Holland loves the camera. Here is a close up!

Cole got a boo-boo on his nose but is still as adorable as ever!

Holland's First Haircut

Holland Rae got her first "haircut" this past weekend. During Maw Maw's visit, we had her cut off our little one's rat tail. As for an overall haircut, Mommy wanted to wait, she is having too much fun with piggy tails and bows!

Say goodbye to the rat tail...

Snip snip..

Hey, whats going on back there?!

I can help put my own hair in the bag

I look beautiful... thanks Maw Maw!

Cole's First Haircut

Cole had his first haircut when Maw Maw visited this weekend and boy did he need it! The haircut actually took quite awhile and Maw Maw did an excellent job! Here are some of the hundreds of pictures taken... thanks Aunt Jenn!

Bye bye rat tail!

Ok this is kind of fun... lots of entertainment...

Whatcha doing back there Maw Maw?
The little one's patience started to wear thin...

Phew that was a lot of work... thanks Maw Maw... I look great!
