75-59
Saturday was rivalry day in the Caldwell house. Cole donned the blue to cheer on the 'Cats. And Holland made "not so flattering" Indiana red look good.
As you can tell from the picture, Holland did not see much of the game because she is smiling. And Cole, although happy with the victory, was not to pleased with the 2nd half. Like the 'Cats in the 2nd half, he too left a big stinkie.

A Griswold Christmas
Ok so we STILL don't have a mantle and have decided to make the best out of the situation. I don't know what is more sad.... the fact that we have a stocking nailed to a 2 by 4 on our wall or the fact that the only one in our family that has a stocking right now is the dog. Mommy is going out this week to fix that!

Exersaucer Man and Discovery Mat Woman
This weekend we had fun with our Exersaucer. Cole can officially sit and "play" in the saucer and hold up his head like a big boy (until he gets tired!). The only thing he can't do is touch the floor with his feet so we had to provide a little help (at least Mommy's magazines are going to good use because she sure doesn't have time to read them!). Holland is not quite as strong as Cole and has more trouble holding up her head but is trying real hard. I included pictures of her on the play mat holding up her head for all to see.
Thank goodness for Real Simple magazine!

The babies weigh in...
At 11 weeks, Cole weighs in at 12 lbs, 10.5 oz. Holland is falling behind her brother at 12 lbs. They are getting big so fast! Cole was able to go in his exersaucer and Holland has figured out her bouncy seat (if she kicks her legs, it makes sounds!). They are both doing really well. Mommy and Daddy try to keep them on the same schedule which means if one baby gets up, both babies get up, if one baby eats, both babies eat, etc. We have started to put them in separate rooms for naps in the day since Cole has soo much to say that Holland never gets any sleep! But no worries, at night they are back in the same room and sleep well. Oh that was another big event this week... Daddy called it the great migration. The twins have officially moved out of our room and up to the nursery. This was met with mixed feelings by Mommy but Daddy was thrilled to re-claim our room. We have turned the guest bedroom on the first floor into the babies room during the day and got the changing table and pack n' play out of our room. I do have to admit it is nice to have a little more space! Also new and exciting this week... the babies have made it 8 hours at night, which made Mommy and Daddy very happy!

The Scherer's Visit

Turkey Day
Thanksgiving was a big time at our house this year. Aunt Kimmie and Pop came in to visit and Miss Em and Gerald came over for the celebration. We had a great time on Daddy's favorite holiday... although we are told it will be much better when we can actually eat something other than milk! Aunt Kimmie spent all day in the kitchen cooking up a storm. During the festivities, Holland let out her first laugh. We haven't heard it since (Mommy's jokes must be getting worse!).

Is it really possible to have more pictures?
Just when you thought there were already enough pictures of Holland and Cole, we had to go and bring in another professional photographer to snap some shots of the kiddos.
Jenna, of Red, White, and Green Photography, pulled a Godfather and made us an offer we couldn't refuse - and we couldn't be happier with the results. I am sure Mindy will have Jenna on speed dial as the Dutchess and the Cole Train (woo woo) get bigger.
To see the pictures you can click on the link below. Jenna will be providing us with a CD of the pictures. If there are any you want, please let us know.

Aunt Jenn Comes To Visit
Aunt Jenn spent the week helping Mommy and Daddy out with the twins. Mommy appreciated all the "tips and tricks" and she was a huge help. Daddy was excited that he finally got to drink a beer with his sister. Audrey and Leah, thank you for letting your Mommy come visit us. We can't wait to see you in a month. Here are some pictures from the Aunt Jenn Photo Shoot.

Hey there Hardwick's, we are moving in!
We had our first "two-feeding" outing today. We completely imposed ourselves on the Hardwick's. Their hospitality was overwhelming and we highly recommend you imposing yourself on the Hardwicks as well.
You want chili, they got chili.
You want vegetable soup, they got vegetable soup.
You want questionable chicken, its yours. :)
You want rum and coke, get ready to walk with a limp.

Two Month Appointment
Holland and Cole had their two week appointment today. Aunt Jenn was there to provide moral support to Mommy while the babies got their shots. The babies said, "ouchie" and Mommy got a little emotional.
- Holland weighed 11 lbs and is in the 50th percentile.
- Cole weighed 11 lbs 5.5 oz and is in the 25-50th percentile.

Hello Neighbors!
Our wonderful neighbors came over for a visit tonight. It was an impromptu celebration that resulted in 6 empty bottles of wine and a few dead beer soldiers. Holland and Cole only stayed at the party for a little while before going to bed.
Hunter is holding Holland. "Tom says that changing diapers is great birth control...but I'll just stick to holding her."
Ms. Emily is reminding Cole that he can't let his big sister push him around.

CMOM Outing and Daddy on Baby Duty
Mindy went to her first Charlotte Mothers of Multiples play date with her friend Kristin and her boys Aiden and Liam yesterday. I can't speak for the ladies because I wasn't there, but I do know that Mindy had the fear of God look in her eye as she told me the stories. Toys were definitely thrown away and I am sure that both Mindy and Kristin are not ready for the kids to walk.
Unfortunately, Mindy came down with a stomach virus on her way home so Daddy was on 24 hour baby duty by himself. Scary thought, I know. The good news is that the babies are still alive. They also watched an obscene amount of football. Cole will be happy to tell you about the spread offense and Holland knows how to stop the triple option. Daddy can't wait for when football season is over and he can pull out the old Wrestlemania DVD's with the babies - that's when the real education begins!

Mommy Takes the Babies to Work
Today we went with Mommy and Daddy to Mommy's work. We met all of her co-workers and everyone thought we were soo cute! We then went out to eat with Mommy's co-workers and we did VERY good. When we asked for the check, we realized it was feeding time. Mommy and Daddy had to stop at a church parking lot to feed and burp us. Hey when its time to eat, its time to eat! We were very tired from our exciting day but one thing we learned is that we love Coca Cola!
Before leaving for her office, Mommy decided to have another photo shoot.

Nothing like a brother to lean on

So innocent...now

"Mommy, I am not in the mood for pictures"

Cole is one smiley guy today

"Hey Daddy, what are you doing down there"

"Daddy is so silly trying to get me to smile"

Mommy and Daddy make us laugh - mostly Daddy though

"Nope, still not gonna smile"

Mommy's heart melts

We barely fit into these outfits. Now Mommy is sad.

Babies 1st Halloween
Today was our first Halloween. We had so much fun "dressing up" in our pumpkin and ghost bibs that MawMaw gave us. We looked so cute, or atleast that is what everyone told us! We went to our first official party at Ms. KiKi and Mr. Brendan's house. We had a good time. Cole slept through most of it and Holland wanted Mommy to walk her around so she could see everyone. Mrs. Kemper was so nice to hold Holland and feed her. We love our new friends!
MawMaw gave me this pumpkin bib costume since I am too small to wear a really scary costume

Aren't I the cutest ghost ever - eat your heart out Caspar!
